My purpose for writing this report is to explain the book and express my personal feeling on the book Night and how I relate to it. Besides the obvious charter (Eliezer) there are three characters that stand out. I picked characters from the beginning because they foreshadowed what was coming and by doing so that made the reaction of the people who didn’t listen entertaining…in a sick way I know. Moshe the Beadle was interesting. He had so much faith when the book started. It’s not that he didn’t have faith later on, it’s just in the opening he openly praised and gloried. He spoke with Eliezer about God and all his relation with the world and beyond. When he escaped the forest to warn his people and no believed him he stopped praising aloud. He would no long look at people in the eye. His warnings of deaths were ignored and in resulted the town was damn near illuminated. Madame Schachter she ....
