Essay Galaxy - Lord Of The Flies
One of the themes in the novel, Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, is that there is the potential for evil in everyone. In society, this evil can usually be controlled by moral and authoritative boundaries, but in some cases, it can be gradually let out in bursts of immoral activity. As the characters in the novel regressed from their moral boundaries, one character stood out the most: Roger. He represents the worst kind of people; people that profit off the destruction and decimation of others. His regression from the start of the novel to the end showed that the evil in everyone can come out eventually.
