Rosa Parks is a very resilient person. In her lifetime she has overcome much prejudices and segregation even after becoming used to following the segregation laws she found humiliating. Rosa Parks faced the many consciences she knew she would have for standing up for herself and her whole race and future generations. She even became an inspiration to many people and started a whole civil rights movement that would help achieve equality.
When Parks was twenty she became an active member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored people. She became secretary of the Montgomery chapter. She was well respected in the black community and known by many people because of her work with the Montgomery Voters League. The Voters League was a group that helped black citizens pass the various tests that had been set up to make it difficult for them to register as voters. Just....
