Juliette Low was born on October 31, 1860 in Savannah, Georgia. Her parents named her Juliette Magill Kinzie Gordon but no one called her that. Her nickname was Daisy. She was born during the Civil War, which was very hard on her. Daisys father was a southerner fighting against the Yankees. She had hardly any food and wore raggy clothes. She had three sisters and two brothers. Every summer Daisy and her family visited her Aunt Eliza and twenty cousins in North Georgia. They spent most of their time outside. The only time they came in was to sleep and eat breakfast. Daisy was a good artist and actress. She loved putting on plays for her family.
