In Benjamin Franklins autobiography he tells the stories of his life from a young lad to the year 1757 when he was 51 years old. Franklin discovered that he was the youngest son of the youngest son for five generations. He first thought he would be part of the clergy, but his father took him out of school and employed his as an assistant in making candles. He also developed a love for the sea and wanted to be a sailor, but his father did not approve. As he grew up he became attached to books and loved to read and began serving as an apprentice to a printer.
Franklin worked as a printer apprentice for his brother, but he didnt like the situation. He left Boston for New York at the age of seventeen. He left New York after a short time because he was told he could find work as a printer apprentice in Philadelphia. He arrives ....
