Adolescent Egocentrism My observation took place at my boyfriend's house, who has a fifteen year old sister. I watched a total of eight adolescents, five girls and three boys, for about an hour. They had just returned from their freshman homecoming dance and it was a little after midnight. They were all still dressed in their suits and dresses, and very excited.
