Hate, a word that tends to be used so much, but most people that use it don't even know its meaning or what they are really portraying when using it. The word hate means to feel animosity or hostility toward a person or a thing. When the two words, "animosity" and "hostility" are broken down the meaning of hate seems to become much more powerful, and easier to understand. Now being broken down the meaning of hate is to have a bitterly deep and open, active hatred toward an opposing person or thing. What a horrible thing for a word to mean, for saying, "I have a bitterly deep and open, active hatred toward you." would have greater impact then "I hate you.", but in all reality a person making either of these statements is basically saying the exact same thing.
