We woke up jet-lagged the morning after we arrived, determined to see all that London had to offer. We had seen the sights the previous afternoon from afar as one of the notorious red double-decker busses carried my brother, my mother and myself around the town with many other tourists, as it barreled down the winding, aged streets. From this tour, we were able to map out the best routes to see the shops, museums, and other tourist traps.
Our first stop would be a part of London called Knightsbridge, home of the infamous Harrods Department Store. A place so well known it was written up in every travel book about London and so extraordinary that items from here were "sent over" (for a Queen would never actually go shopping) for the Royal Family to purchase. The span of the store's influence on London was so far reaching that there was even a bridge....
