Symbol I would like to discuss, and that is most interesting is how Mr. Cameron, the director, symbolized the rich and the poor. He attempted to show how the rich people were not as nice as the poor were, and how it came to destroy them. However, he showed us that neither all “rich” people nor all “poor” people could be classified together totally. The rich lived on the upper deck of this gigantic boat. They had servants whom waited on them, and filled their every need. They were treated with respect and courtesy, whereas the poor were not treated quite as well. They were checked for lice as they entered the boat through a small door on the lower deck. It was no coincidence that the poor people’s quarters were below the rich people’s. ....
