In the play Hamlet, written by William Shakespeare, Hamlet is the main character. Isnt that a surprise. Not really, but what is, is the fact that he could not kill his uncle one time, but the next time he could. It is hinting that the death of his mother could have been the turning point of his decision. He killed his uncle Claudius.
Hamlets father was killed by his uncle for the power to take over the throne. But instead of doing it the proper, moral way, he killed the king. Unfortunately for King Hamlet, he was killed with sins on his soul. This meant that he would burn in hell, his life was complete. So being the great son of a profound father, he decided that he would get the ultimate revenge. He would place death on the killer.
