Death of a Salesman: Linda In the play Death of a Salesman, a character that doesn’t stand out very much in the play actually has much to offer to the plot - Linda. Linda attempted to perform a good job as a wife and mother, but subconsciously influenced the tragic ending of the play. Linda can be blamed for Willy’s tragic ending.
