I decided to evaluate this movie because I had never seen it and I am interested in knowing what my rights toward censorship involve. In People Vs Larry Flynt there were numerous cases of civil liberties, which were tried. The main civil liberty issue in the film was the freedom of speech, which is contained, in the first amendment. Charles Keating brought a case against Larry Flynt claiming that Hustler magazine, which was published by Larry Flynt, was pandering obscenity.
