Caregivers Everyday, for the past five years, I have been caring for a very special person in my life. That person is my mother. I must say this is, by far, the most important yet most challenging job I have ever acquired. My mother suffered a massive stroke which left her in debilitating state. She cannot talk, walk, eat or do anything for herself. I assist her with all of her physical activities, such as using the bathroom, showering, exercising, feeding, and her daily medicine intake.
