The Brain
The human body is divided into many different parts called organs. All of the part are controlled by an organ called the brain, which is located in the head. The brain weighs about 3 pounds, and has a whitish-pink appearance. The brain is separated into 3 part, the cerebrum, the cerebellum, and the brain stem. Each part consists chiefly of nerve and supporting cells. The nerves and the brain make up a system just like telephone poles carrying wires, making up the nervous system. The human brain has from 10 billion and 100 billion neurone's. The brain is protected by a series of bones called the skull. Twenty-eight bones make up the skull. The brain keeps itself safe by keeping itself liquid. Nearly one fifth of the blood pumped by the heart is sent to the brain.
The cerebrum makes up about 85 percent of the weight of the human....
