Statement For Propsed Activity Research On Impact Of Trade On Pak-Us Military Ties The aim for this research proposal is to describe and evaluate the impact of trade on Pak-US military ties. In my research proposal I will try to highlight the major factors in reference to trade which have affected Pak-US military ties during the 1990's. Trade of a nation is of vital importance to enhance military ties with another nation. The importance of Pak-US ties, especially military ties, can be traced back a long way in time. The United States and Pakistan established diplomatic relations in 1947. The U.S agreement to provide economic and military assitance to Pakistan and the latter's partnership in the Baghdad Pact/CENTO and SEATO strengthened relations between the two nations.
