Undoubtedly Coleridge’s "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" is one of the most powerfully vivid pieces of writing in all of English literature. It is the use of a regular rhyming scheme, repetition, changes in rhythm, and most importantly, the use of language ,within the poem, that makes "The Ancient Mariner" the celebrated work of art which it thus has been credited.
