He is always trying to give you another detail about the town The two other very important characters are George Gibbs and Emily Webb. George is a popular boy, who is good at baseball. He marries Emily. Emily is the smartest girl in her class. She marries George. The major event is act one is just the describing of the town. It just shows the typical life of two families the introduction to Emily and George is important too. Act II, the wedding of George and Emily. Act III, the death of Emily. I think that this play makes me ask myself; do I really understand life? The tone was calm the whole way through, almost like a campfire story. The playwright treats all characters the same. The language definitely has an accent, I think they do speak a little slo....
