Let's Really Reform Our Schools In her essay, "Let's Really Reform Our Schools," Anita Garland suggests several controversial changes in the way high schools are run, such as banning troublemakers from class and requiring students to wear uniforms. I agree with Garland that troublemakers should be banned from the traditional high school. When I was in California there were two ways to deal with this situation: first is special schools for troublemakers and second is work-placement programs for those who don't want to attend any school. The first way is to have special neighborhood schools that are designed to deal with students who have a history of being very disruptive in a traditional school setting.
