Education vs. Corrections Have you ever thought about where your tax dollars are going? If you have then you’ve probably tried to catagorize which gets more than which. Then put education vs. corrections. Which would you decide to get more tax dollars? Education must receive the higher percentage of tax dollars because then you are giving a solution to the problem of crime before it starts. There are many reasons why I think this is true. One of the reasons is that by educating the minds of youngsters they will understand the difference between right and wrong and learn the consequences of their actions. That right there will stunt bad dicision making for the most part. Another reason is that by spending more on jails and prisons than public schools your just clearing the path for more people to be entered into these facilities. That is not a solution.....
