The Nasty Restroom The moment I opened the door to the wretched smelling restroom, my whole body seemed to gag. The musty air and urinous smell teased my esophagus, wrenching my entire throat and insisting that I leave. Prepared to do so, I was reminded of my present and urgent need to use the restroom, despite its putrid condition. I tiptoed over the floor, which was littered with everything from old gum to a glob of something that slightly resembled moldy creamed corn. Stepping over a used Kleenex, its contents oozing through the cheap single-ply tissue, I opened the door to the bathroom stall. I cautiously touched only the part of the lock that seemed the least bacteria infested. I couldn’t guess what color the toilet seat was supposed to be because it was slimed in filth. A roach scampered out from under the seat and stared at me blankly ....
