Basketball Dreams All boys have dreams. Some dreams are great while others are small. Some dream of being famous, others of meeting their heroes. I am one of the lucky few who had the opportunity to not only meet my hero, but to spend days with him laughing, talking, sharing, but above all learning. My hero is my grandfather, Manuel Rios. My grandfather came to live with us when I was four years old, and I can still see him in front of the television watching ever basketball game that was ever played. I did not know it then, but my grandfather had played basketball when he was in high school. Basketball and his coach had been the only reason that he had been able to stay in school and graduate.
