Throughout To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee many examples of symbolism exist. One example would be the names of Jem, Scout, and Dill. Another example would be the use of the title in the book. And finally objects in the book such as the cake and the camellias were examples of symbolism.
The author used several of the characters names to symbolize their qualities. One of these was Scout. Scout was always following along with Jem.
