Who was the title character:
The title character was a hobbit named Frodo Baggins. In The Fellowship of the Ring, Frodo sees evil Orcs, the creature Gollum, Balins (one of the dwarves that accompanied Bilbo in his journey in the book The Hobbit) tomb, elves, the last of the "Black riders" or at least in this book, and a near death experience. I think that in this book Frodo is somewhat a leader and also has to make many tough decisions.
