There were a few things I found that made The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn the piece of American literature that it is. One of them was the use of superstition used in the book. Another was the amount of racism and intolerance. Much of the book focused around those two elements, and the culture and society of the time period. It is also clear the author has a high respect for nature. The book can be viewed from many different angles, depending on the view you take. Overall it was a great book.
Superstition clearly plays a big part in Huck Finn's life, and the time period in general. It is funny to me how much things have changed in around 200 years, through the use of modern science. I think it reflects on the human need to explain events and what is going on. People have....
