Animal Farm: Power's Corruption
Power; like in the book 'Animal Farm', by George Orwell; can lead people to greed, discrimination and treachery. Every one has some kind of power over someone or something else. Depending on how it is used it can be good or bad. Like the pigs in 'Animal Farm' for example, they used their power to manipulate and trick their primitive comrades to expand their power over them.
Power can make people greedy. Such as; the pigs of Animal Farm; as soon as they found they were gaining power over the other animals they began to give themselves special privileges and more rations. They wanted more and more control over the other animals so they trained dogs to guard them and attack whoever they were told. This scared the other animals into not protesting and thus expanding the pig's power even more. They saved apples, milk and whiskey....
