Woods all over the world are basically the same, made up of similar contents, but they all have different meaning in the way they can make you feel inside. In the short story Young Goodman Brown by Hawthrone the meaning of the woods appears to be satanic. The woods in my story however, are very free of worries and enjoyable. Where Hawthornes woods and my woods have different meanings mentally, they are made up of all the same basic contents, they have trees, shrubs, animals, etc. The actual appearance of these woods are the only thing similar, all else is opposite.
Young Goodman Browns woods were not only creepy in appearance, but also as you entered the devil would make his presence known. The woods in Browns encounters were a place for devil worshipping and evil acts; even the most religious people such as the Minister and Deacon woul....
