At first Dmitry is in the lust stage. He does not care about the women whom he is with. He thinks of them as an “inferior race”. Even with his wife, he thinks of her of limited intelligence, narrow-minded, dowdy, and on top of that he is afraid of her. But with all of these negative feelings towards the female persuasion, he could not go two days without “the inferior race”! He feels at ease communicating to wome....
