For some people this period may seem like an eternity, for others, it may only last for a few days or weeks at a time. Three characters in the novel "Of Mice and Men" who I feel are lonely are: Lennie, Candy, and Curley's Wife. I have chosen to show you how these very different characters have all suffered the same fate, to be lonely. Lennie is a big, strong man who is unfortunately mentally handicapped. This mental handicap has caused Lennie to become distant and separated from the rest of the world.
