In the novel The Catcher in the Rye, by J. D. Salinger, the author does an outstanding job on the way he presents a true picture of human behavior. An example of this is when the author describes a character in the novel such as Ossenburgurger. The author states:
He started out with about fifty corny jokes, just to show us what a regular guy he was. Very big deal. I see people that are an exact replica of J. D. Salingers description of Ossenburger. It is not a stereotype, but more of a routine for big shots to prepare themselves to talk to the so-called lower class. Even the front runners....
