A Friar is defined as a man who is a member of any various monastic orders of the Roman Catholic Church. He was jolly and merry and wore a long hanging hood that was attached to his cape. His voice was gay and sturdy and his eyes twinkled like stars. His neck was whiter than a lily flower but strong enough to butt a bruiser down. The Friar is described as a "limitour" a person who begs on the behalf of the poor. He is a bachelor on a love hunt, a crooked business and does complete his duties as a Friar. The Friar knows many beautiful women, many affluent men, and rarely associates with the class of people he should live among. The Friar's duties were to live among the poor, to beg on their behalf and to give his earnings to aid their struggle for livelihood. He was a noble pillar to his order.
