In Geoffrey Chaucers Canterbury Tales, each character is different. These discrepancies are found in the characters appearances, personalities, and occupations. The pilgrims also have much in common. The Miller and the Reeve differ in appearance and specialty skills and are similar in that they both deal with grain and are found to be intimidating.
The most obvious difference is in their look. The Miller is quite revolting. He is a large, husky man with a red beard. He has wide black nostrils and a wart on the tip of his nose. While the Miller has a large build, the Reeve is more slim and slender. He is a tall, clean-shaven man. His hair is short and his legs are quite scrawny.
