Everyone looked up and stared as the very noticeable squad car
crept by, hoping to shake the local people, but no one moved just cold

My Apartment
.... to the other one has just walked outside and has ready to go to work. The lady lives upstairs my apartment. Sometimes, my mom and I are so annoyed by the noise from the ceiling at night. Heavy walking, loudly music, children banging around stairs… these noises bug me sometimes! Whenever I could not stand it anymore, I would slam my door room, warning them to stop it. But my request from slamming the door is rarely satisfied.
At the corner of the apartment is a garbage-cart which is every morning the .....

Life Long Friendship
.... and chapels. We find friends in many ways, but we often solidify our friendships in adversity. During illness we see the real caring and concerns of others. Being present during the adverse times often permanently bonds humans together.
Of course, not everyone can maintain friends from our childhood as I have been able to do. People are mobile, they move from city to city or merely change neighborhoods. Yet, regardless of the length of the relationship, we all have a need for friendship and co .....

Arrested In Winder, Georgia
.... is a pretty small town. It has two stoplights and a little strip mall, which is considered to be their downtown area. My uncle lives further out in the countryside but in order for us to get to his house, we had to go through town. We had just passed the city limit sign for Winder and got on to a two- way road. Joe and I were talking about who would be at the picnic and some other non-serious subjects on our minds. There was another car in front of us. It was going about 25 miles per hour at a 45 .....

My Freshman Experience At The University Of Alabama
.... to leave the house. Now that I am three hours away it is hard to get all the attention I am use to. I miss them all very much, but the phone has proven to be my best friend. I talk to them all everyday, making sure that I do not miss a thing that goes on in Atlanta.
Another issue that has effected my college experience is meeting new people. Meeting new people is usually something that I never have a problem of doing. Since I have been here I have felt intimidated by people and not as comfortable a .....

My Fisher Price Airplane
.... my house. I grab the plane and hold it, remembering the good times I had with it. While moving my hand up the sides of it I can feel how aged it really is. The surface is cold, almost as if the airplane had been lonely the past thirteen years waiting for that little three-year old boy to hold it again. The exterior of the plane is as smooth a newborn baby except for a few deep scratches here and there. I place the plane back on the table and push it around a little bit for old time’s sake. The wheel .....

A Day In The Life

Once I have showered and dressed, I venture into the kitchen to see if there is a quick breakfast that can be prepared between the time I put the kettle on until the time it boils. My mum will be up to her armpits with potato and carrot peelings and there will be various pans bubbling and hissing on the stove. A chicken, a leg of lamb, or roast beef will be ro .....

But in reality the world would turn into complete chaos if we let go of the laws. People would not understand right from wrong and would feel lost where they once felt secure. Some would rebel and break every law ever made .....

A Tragic Day

It was a three lane highway and I was driving on the left lane, my exit was few minutes away and I knew that if I didn’t switch lanes rapidly I would have to drive two to three more miles on a very slow moving traffic. The Green Light Café
.... Funkula. Over a bottle of port, we created tunes until the shadows outside became trees and houses once again. Inspiration for a new song was never more than a glance to the sky away for Nick. He savored his forte- clever, witty social and spiritual observations. On this particular night, however, we rewrote the words to an old 80’s song that could not have been that good because none of us could remember the words, title, or artist who performed it. We knew the tune however, and the green light re .....

A shadow crossed my face, blocking the stars glow. A sudden rush of fear went through my body. Just when I leapt to my feet to see what was outside the door to the mead-hall opened. My jaw fell to the ground when I saw a devilish monster standing with its mouth watering. I quickly and quietly opened the near by window and crept ou .....
