The History Of The Peace In Rome, The Pax Romana
.... We
figured out that if we mixed lime mortar, pour it into a wooden mold, and
then wait for it to dry then we would have a substance that was as hard as
stone. This was a new age for us because the concrete formed the backbone
of Rome's bold architecture. This material was then covered with a costly
material, usually marble, to look more decorative. This was used around
the city and people claimed that it looked as if it were the world capital,
for which of course we are.

The Punic Wars 264 BC -- 146 BC
.... the attack
on them from Carthage.
This war was fought mainly at sea, around Sicily. Carthage was more
superior in this field of fighting. This is because they had fought at sea

the Romans finally started a navy, this reflected in their fighting. For
many years the Carthaginian people were more successful. This is because
they were under the power of Hamilcar. On March 10, 241 BC this would all
change, at the battle of Aegates Isl .....

During the war, demands for Canadian goods went up in Europe and in

Why Did Rome Fall?
.... city grew to a huge empire.
Somehow, this small-time system of management lasted for 600 years. It's
obvious ill suitedness showed through though, when Rome's once strong rigid
links began to jingle. When Rome began to crumble, its army went first.
Besides causing civil unrest, with the people knowing their army was less
than satisfactory, the loss of the army's comforting presence also caused a
feeling of weakness about Rome.
The economy of Rome was not perfect either. Though the taxes were
heavy, th .....

situation I think it would be hard for me to forgive the Germans, but it
would be harder to forget all the pain and suffering they went through.
