And Then There Were None By Ag
.... the sun; One got all frizzled up then there was one. One Indian boy left all alone; He went and hanged himself and then there were none. I really enjoyed this book and thought it to be entertaining. It was a hard book to put down and I read about half of the book in one day because it was so interesting. And since it is a mystery I thought I knew exactly what was going to happen, but it had a strange twist right towards the end. I would definitley recommend this book to anyone who likes a good mystery.

Animal Farm - Elements Of Lite
.... animal without cause.” At this point it shows that he really is an antagonist. I also feel that the humans were also antagonists, just of the fact how they treated the animals.
The dynamic characters in the story would be, in my thoughts, Snowball, Napoleon, and the humans. Snowball changed in the story when he was chased away. And in Napoleons mind he changed even more. He supposedly changed so much that he began sabotaging the windmill and even destroying it, he also was blamed to milk the cows .....

Animal Farm - Compared To The
.... needs. The pigeons acted as message carriers spreading propaganda between farms, spreading Napoleon’s words from farm to farm, or in the actual Russian Revolution, country to country. Although all these animals are very different, they all shared one common trait. They were all weak. They all let Napoleon take over without much resistance. Just like Stalin took over Russia. These animals were too weak, too scared, or just lacked the intelligence required to do something about it. This is where it is the f .....

power and Mr. Jones takes back over. This is a
style analysis of Animal Farm.
Diction, language and imagery are three important
elements in a style analysis. A word choice that
is used a lot in the novel is "rebellion".
Rebellion is a word used instead of a revolution
or a war. Another word that is used a lot in the
novel is "comrade". Comrade means an intimate
friend or associate. Comrade is used in that form
in the novel, instead of saying that someone was
their friend the .....

.... during the Revolution. For almost 50 years the world thought that the Nazis had done the killing in Russia, when in fact it was Stalin. (Imse 2). The last characters that are symbolic of each other are the animal Snowball with the Russian leader Trotsky. Snowball was very enthusiastic and was a leader who organized the defense of the farm. He gave speeches and instructions but was not very beneficial. All the other animals liked him, but he was outsmarted by Napoleon. Trotsky and Stalin’s relationship wa .....

Antigone
.... to this day, still argue about who is the tragic hero of Antigone. Many say that Antigone is the heroin. Others say that it is Creon. My research favors Antigone as the perfect protagonist. No matter who the reader sides with, it is agreed by most that there is a valid argument either way, in light of the fact that they both endure great hardships.

Antigone - Creon As A Tragic H
.... if it is wrong he will not correct it, because he is the king whom is never wrong. In scene 3, line 105 Creon shows how much self-pride he really has by saying, "My voice is the one voice giving orders in this city." Then he states that, "the state is the king," in line 107. Later in the scene Creon is arguing with his son and says you will never her while she lives, and this shows how whenever he makes a decision he will stick by it. By Creon's self-pride deciding to never let his son marry Antigone, .....

.... right away in front of Haimon’s eyes. "’Just understand: You don’t insult me and go off laughing. Bring her here! Let him see her. Kill her here, beside her bridegroom’" (Sophocles 919-921). This was too much for Haimon to take, and he runs out of the room, yelling, "’…her death will destroy others’" (Sophocles 908). Blinded by his pride and arrogance, Kreon takes that remark as a threat to himself, unknowing that it wasn’t directed to him, but was a suicide threat by his own son.
Yet, Kreone may .....

A Comparison Of Macbeth And Cr
.... Macbeth (Honigmann 69). The virtue and bravery shown in Macbeth are overcome by the evil force of the witches who draw him to his demise (Somerville 33). Similarly, Raskolnikov evinces himself as the epitome of a tragic agent. Raskolnikov commits the murder because he was “drawn by a power over which he now has no control,” (Goddard 14) thus once again exhibiting the existential philosophy that man has no control over his actions. Tragically, Raskolnikov struggles internally wondering why he committed such .....

McCullers fully examines the “immense complexities of love”(104) in depicting both the conflict an love within one family, and how this can tear a family apart. Problems such as drinking excessively cause relationships to deteriorate. The dependence on each other and love for one another holds a family together. Ultimately, McCullers past encounters with alcohol and family drove her .....
