Method Acting
.... that can be used in maturing theatre techinique. By developing the system of method acting, Konstantin Stanislavski did just that. He created continuity in the refinement of technique, and thus allowed communication to occur within the acting realm. *
For years I have unknowingly used various aspects of the "method" in my own acting. When my mentor told me to read Stanislavski's system by Sonia Moore, I was expecting some sort of ephiphany which would immediately broaden my whole theatrical outlook. .....

The overall organization consists of four large triangles at the corner; a series of eight triangular spaces on the outer border; an intermediate series of figures; and nine central panels, all bound together with architectural motifs and nude male figures. Michelangelo 2
.... ahead with the challenging project of more then forty figures, spending months in the quarries to obtain the necessary Carrara marble. Due to a money shortage the pope ordered him to put aside the tomb project in favor of painting the ceiling of the Sistine chapel. When Michelangelo went back to work on the tomb, he redesigned it on a much more modest scale. However Michelangelo made some of his finest sculpture for the Julius tomb, including the Moses now located in Rome's church of San Pietro in Vinco .....

Michelangelo 3
.... work he ever signed. This sculpture shows a
youthful Mary with her dying son Jesus laying across her lap. Mary’s expression
is one of resignation rather then grief. Another of his greatest works in the large
marble sculpture David, which he produced between 1501 and 1504. The
expression on David’s face is termed terribilita, a characteristic of many
Michelangelo’s figures. He was later called back to Rome by Pope Julius II in
1505 for two duties. First, Michelangelo painted the fresco .....

.... stay there, even for four hours a day, especially when the sunshine beckoned and the sea was smooth." Out of shear boredom Monet drew caricatures of his teachers, who tried hard to get him to concentrate on other subjects rather than solely art. However, there efforts failed them, not only because he was making more profit from one drawing than his teachers made in one day, but he later dropped out of school to become known as the "Father of Impressionalism". This title did not impress Monet; it was a posi .....

Monets Green Reflections
.... The “Waterlilies” series was a number of paintings of the same lily pond. The defining characteristic of “Green Reflections” is that it was the only one of the group painted at night. Monet’s fascination with light and colour was the fuel behind this concept.
Being an impressionist painter, very little of his works used line and shape. “Green Reflections” is no exception. Irregular patterns are prominent with little regard for structure and realism.
The only way Monet could capture his .....

Movie The Sand Lot
.... mood of this movie is the small town atmosphere. This setting is very approtite because it wouldn't fit to have this happen in a big city. The setting is very believable. Every aspect could happen.
There are many conflicts in the movie The Sandlot. There isn't really a fight between characters. There is a conflict between the boys and Hercules, but I don't really think he's an important character. There is a little stress between the characters. The main stress is between Scottie and his step - .....

Mrs. Cage (a Play)
.... she was simply a status symbol to her husband. She helped him project the type of image he needed as an attorney. Mr. Cage paid her little attention after Elizabeth was born and this caused Lillian's slow but obvious progression from a caged woman to a madwoman. It may have begun with her ironing his shirts.
One of Mrs. Cage's favorite memories is of the times when Mr. Cage had difficult cases and needed her to bring new shirts to the courthouse. It seems her only real connection with him is .....

Music And Censorship
.... especially as Christians, put our total devotion in them? It exists like wanting
to ride with a blind driver rather than one with perfect vision. In addition many of the musicians use drugs and stimulants to satisfy their hunger for themselves and for pure fun. The musicians tend to use drugs massively, to get out of the very real world that they consist so much a part of. Popularity seems pleasing but when one has the affections and total devotion of a mass of people, that person can not handle it bec .....

Music In The Romantic Period
.... of nationalism and the universal brotherhood of man, longing for political and social freedom. The music represented the period of time that saw the American and French Revolutions, then the joining of Germany and Italy, and the abolition of slavery in the United States.
The Romantic Era spawned the popular idea people have of a composer being a "long- haired Bohemian who, between love affairs, wrote music that no one can understand." Though this was not necessarily true, there were however, m .....
