"Speak And You Shall Be Heard"

The tone expressed through Martin Luther King Jr's speeches was not of
hatred or resentment, just love for all mankind no matter what color or
creed they may be. Martin Luther King Jr. came across as a kind human being,
not a person full of anger and violence. In speaking to one another we
should have the same tone in speaking as Martin Luther King Jr. in order to

We should watch that we do not offend someone when speaking. We

control of Congress in the fall elections.
The battle for the Philippines was very important to the war. This

How The Women's Movement Has Improved
.... shift
in attitudes encouraged women to work. The status of women changed after
the war because they took on the same jobs of men while they were at war,
proving that what a man could do a woman can do also. The war gave an
opportunity, a chance for women to show off their knowledge, abilities and
capabilities. Quite ironic, the jobs women obtained were partly forced
into voluntarily jobs. Some of the women wanted to prove themselves
capable of doing a “man” job, while others were indirectly forced i .....

The Spanish-American War

go on indefinitely as the rebels would be strong enough win, nor would the
Spanish forces be powerful enough to defeat them.
American newspapers, especially the yellow press of rival

stories of the Spanish oppression in Cuba. They included wildly exaggerated
accounts that a quarter of the Cuban population had been killed at the
hands of their Spanish oppressors. President William .....

The Boston Massacre
.... The purpose of the Boston Massacre was to try to make liberal and
moderate people become radicals. It was really an accident and the radicals
tried to use propaganda and turn something small into something big. The
British soldiers were accused of Murder and manslaughter. To represent them

Many Navigation Acts had been passed starting in 1650 but none were
