Creative Writing: Slave Story My story begins when I was 12. Years old. My father and I were born into slavery. A family in Georgia owned us. We lived on a big farm and the family pertained two adults, and two kids. There were at least 7 of us slaves. My father and I worked out in the fields picking cotton. Some of us worked outside while the rest of us worked inside doing household chores. I hated the fact that my father and I were slaves. We worked all day out in the sun. We lived in a little house in the back, but I thought of it as a shack. There was barely any heat and it smelled. But my father did his best to keep it clean with what little time we had.
