Visual Deficit The impairment I received to do my disability awareness activity was a visual deficit. To simulate this disability, so that I could get a deeper understanding of the handicaps that follow, I wore a pair of safety glasses that were covered in vaseline for two days. During these two days I tried to go on with my normal activities of daily living. I started this activity on Saturday afternoon just as it was time for me to do my workout.
