The Dark Tower, The Gunslinger For the past month I have been reading Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, The Gunslinger, it is the first book of a series of at least 5 books. It was a very difficult book for me to understand at first but after I read the parts that I didn’t understand the first time around, I really started to understand what was going on in the book. The book is about a dark gunslinger, who is named Roland, who is the gunslinger mentioned in the title. He is the main character of all the Dark Tower stories. He is in pursuit of The Dark Tower. I believe that the dark tower is a portal of some sort to other worlds
