Most people don’t know anything about the Indians in the Northwest today. That is the exact reason that I am writing this paper. To help inform more people about the Indian tribes of the northwest more specifically the Quinault Indian Tribe. The largest and most important Salish people on the Pacific shore of Washington State, living mainly in the valley of the Quinault Rive and near Taholah, the site of their principal village.
