Mexico Mexico is the southern most country in North America. It is located directly below of United States, with a mutual border of approximately 1,500 miles. It is a country with many natural resources, a limited amount of agricultural area and a large expanding population. With more than 80 million people in the mid-1980’s, Mexico’s density is more than 110 people per each square mile. Geologically, Mexico is located in the region called “The Ring of Fire”, which is highlighted by the active volcano’s around the Pacific Ocean. With towering volcanic peaks around 18,000 feet in the central area of Mexico, they are extremely young in geologic terms, being built in the late Territory.
