A traditional hero is usually defined as a person of legendary status that is held above others for his great ability, strength, knowledge, and morals. The traditional hero performs a service or somehow helps the population. The �super-hero� is typically assigned these characteristics. Superman, Spiderman, and others all possess the traits of the traditional heroes. Today�s heroes consist of the wealthy, the famous, and the popular.
