Senior Citizens and Driving Tests Author: Steve Smith, Dan Buckel; Hour 2 I am presenting this to the council in order to propose a feasibility study on Driving Tests and the Elderly. I believe that it should be a law requiring people over the age of 70 to take a driving test every 4 years. From this proposal I hope to get the support and backing of the council to make this a law. There is a definite problem on the roads these days and it isn’t teenagers, it is the elderly. These people, as good of drivers they may have been, do not have the proper attention and reaction time it takes to keep an automobile safely on
