Problems With Being A Teen In The Twentieth Century Being a teenager of the twentieth- century, I am constantly bombarded with the, so called ‘trivial’ problems, that affect today’s teenagers. Commonly known as Generation X, this generation is enveloped in a cloud of hopelessness because we think we have no one to turn to when dealing with these very problems. Some of my friends have turned to various ways to try to fill this void and hopelessness that is so evident in today’s society. Some of these activities range from drugs and sex, to alcohol. I come from a divorced family; my parents being divorced when
