Grasshopper Dissection The grasshopper dissection was a very good experience for me. Not only did I learn the required criteria but I also learned to follow the Instructions. I almost ruined the specimen when I started to make an Incision in the side of the thorax instead of the bottom. I learned the hard way I almost ruined my specimen. I found this to be another interesting dissection. I had fun and learned at the same time. That’s what makes biology fun.
