Military Pay The Military pay raise for 1999 approved by President Clinton has set off many political debates. One of the debates being focused on is military pay compared to the civilian sector pay. I don't believe that all of the President's opposition disputes the military a pay raise. I believe that some may agree that the raise is not enough to solve the militaries' moral and retention problem.
