Dorm vs. Home There are several choices to be made when coming to college. One of the biggest choices is deciding where to live. Living in a dorm while in college is a better choice than living at home. Space is something that everyone needs for living. Some people need more space to live that others do. If that were the case it would not be a good idea to live in a dorm. By living at home, a person has the freedom to move about from room to room, unlike living in a dorm. When a person chooses to live in a dorm they have the choice of a roommate, where as at home the choice is probably already made. Sharing space with a stranger as a person would in a dorm
