A Pair Of Tickets Jing mei went to China, not only to meet her sisters she never met before, but more importantly, to learn more about her family heritage and background. She wanted to find out who she really was deep inside. She also had a number of unanswered questions about her mother that she wanted to discover. Living in the United States all her life, Jing mei kind of forgot who she really was. She considered herself American. She never really knew what it meant to be Chinese. I think that even though her parents tried to surround Jing mei with their Chinese culture, it really did not matter because she was influenced by her American friends. Most of her time was pr
