The Crucible, an extremely climactic play, written by playwright Arthur Miller, explores the unascertained realm of witchcraft among many other abstractions of nature. Among these include the dangers of religion, the ignorance and abuse of power, and the maturity of the mind. This play also has a strong relevance with the McCarthy hearings of the 1950’s.
