The Diary of Anne Frank Through the eyes of one adolescent girl, The Diary of a Young Girl depicts the feelings of many Jewish people whose lives were forever changed by the Nazi invasion. These tragic events took place around the 1940’s during World War II. A group, known as the Nazis, executed millions of people from different sects. Predominant among these were the Jewish people whose entire population was almost eliminated. These people were tortured, beaten, and murdered as a result of their religion. Many stories were published about this time period. An example of this literature is The Diary of a Young Girl that was written by
